The art of Joel Palacio Cervantes

Today we are featuring Joel Palacio Cervantes from Spain. He like many, started painting since he was young and his work is very popular all around Spain and further afield. Here is his story.

I’m Joel Palacio better known as JPC or JPC96Designs. I was born in Parets, Barcelona, Spain in 1996.

Since I was a kid, I’ve been regularly going to Montmeló, Catalonia’s circuit, to see F1 testing and endurance races.

This has been possible due to my town’s proximity to the circuit. I once saw a man drawing Mika Hakkinen’s McLaren in the terraces, which eventually led me to start drawing and fuelled my dream to become a designer and artist.

Other designers that have had an impact on me over the years are Pininfarina, Serra and Bertone.
Two years ago, I put some of my work in a Spanish car forum, people encouraged me to keep pursuing my dream and I continued with my painting and try and get better and better as days go by.

I normally make my designs by pencil, occasionally using photoshop. I am also currently learning the proper way to use 3D modelling programs.

I hope that you enjoy seeing my art. You can follow me on my facebook page here.

The art of Amaru Zeas

This week an artist from Ecuador specializing in 3d and CG work with amazing results. Hope you enjoy his work as much as we did.

Born in 1985 in Cuenca, Ecuador, Amaru moved to Seattle USA at the age of 21 to fulfill his dream of becoming a CG Artist.

His work has been published several times across the world by 3D Artist Magazine, Gnomon School of Hollywood, InCG Magazine and CG Society.

Recently he has also won the HUM3D Car render Challenge 2018.

Since he was a little kid Amaru spent numerous hours watching CG VFX of movies and 3D animated movies. At the age of 9 he started to follow Formula One following his dad’ steps, and since then he has not stop watching it. A real fan.

He has a true passion for rally and exotic cars like the Pagani Huayra.

Amaru currently works at Amazon Games on the car team for the Grand Tour Game.

"My favorite part about being an Artist is the potential of creating a story on a single image" he comments.

"Love what you do and you will go far. What I do for a living is not work but truly passion" he concluded.

Check out his website here.

Some of his work could be seen here on behance.

We have some of his work on show below. Feast your eyes on these. More on our website.
