Autoart by Saša Spasić

This week we have a very talented artist originally from the beautiful town of Dubrovnik in Croatia.

Born in 1984, Saša started drawing cars when was around three years old. This developed into him drawing more detailed images and they were also three dimensional.

At 8 years old he started to dream of the cars of the future. His first exhibition soon followed when he was just ten years old. This was held in Belgrade at the motor show, which was well received.

His passion was cars, but at school and college in Novi Sad, Serbia, he ended up studying Interior and furniture design. This was beneficial to him as he discovered new materials and colours which led to him make his fist realistic car drawing.

After his studies he moved to Belgrad and went to work in the food and restaurant business, his second passion. He had stopped drawing cars for a while.

Around 5 years ago he moved to Hamburg in Germany which was closer to his family and continued to work as a very successful manager of a high end restaurant, but he never gave up his true first passion of art and cars.

Addicted to cars, specially classics, Saša started drawing again and continues to this day with many projects and commissions.

He tries to depict a very realistic look and feel in his works as you will see below in some of the pieces he has sent to share with you.

For his work he uses Markers, Polychromos colors, Pastel colors and Acrylic on Bristolkarton, canvas and board.

His plan for the future is to own his own atelier and to be at various  International Car art exhibitions with his artworks.
You can see more of his work on instagram; Classiccardrawings_by_spasic and Facebook here.

The art of Ruben Badia

Today we feature yet another very talented artist from Spain. Ruben Badia. He was first featured in 2014, so we thought it was time to bring you some of his more recent work. Enjoy.

He was born in 1973 in Sabadell (Barcelona, Spain). "I love cars since I was a child" explains Ruben, the start of his passion.
His father had a car repair shop, so he was in contact with many types of cars from a very young age.
"I love painting and I´m autodidact" (he is elf taught) he explains.
He doesn't look at himself as a professional artist (although we believe he should) and he looks at his art as just a hobby. His dream is to be a professional one day.

He started drawing at a young age and gradually started to paint and add colours and more detail to his subject matters. His works are in acrylic. He loves classic cars, so that is all he likes to paint.

Although he has some of his work on display in a variety of places, his latest project will be on display in a Barcelona gallery as we write this feature.

You can see his work and follow him on Facebook here.

More of his work here and here.

We know you will enjoy his work, so here are some of his pieces he kindly sent to us to share with you.

Always respect copy right.
